As a general rule of thumb for ergonomics, the top of a raised bowl should align roughly with the lower chest/top of the front legs so the dog can eat without excessively bending their neck or crouching.

How to clean your Elevated Raiser and bowl:

Remove the Stainless Steel bowl. (The Stainless Steel bowl can be washed like any other kitchen item and is dishwasher safe.)
The decorative raiser stand should be hand washed with a damp cloth only.
DO NOT submerge the raiser stand in water ! This will cause the stand to warp and loose shape.
DO NOT use hot water, lukewarm slightly soapy water should be used to clean the raiser.
Dry the raiser immediately after cleaning, do not allow water to sit on the surface for a prolonged duration.
