The specific types and breeds of small dogs that would benefit most from a 10cm elevation fall into three main categories:

1. Miniature & Small Long-Backed Breeds

Dogs with elongated spines are prone to back issues like Intermittent Vertebral Disc Disease (IVDD). Bending all the way down to the floor puts extra strain on their necks and spines. Raising the bowl to 10cm allows them to stand in a completely neutral, level posture while eating.

How to clean your Elevated Raiser and bowl:

Remove the Stainless Steel bowl. (The Stainless Steel bowl can be washed like any other kitchen item and is dishwasher safe.)
The decorative raiser stand should be hand washed with a damp cloth only.
DO NOT submerge the raiser stand in water ! This will cause the stand to warp and loose shape.
DO NOT use hot water, lukewarm slightly soapy water should be used to clean the raiser.
Dry the raiser immediately after cleaning, do not allow water to sit on the surface for a prolonged duration.
